I am a Franco-Ontarian illustrator, visual artist, and designer based in Ottawa. My work spans illustration, photography, and graphic design, but my primary passion lies in crafting surreal and emotionally charged narratives through illustration. I draw inspiration from lived experiences, exploring themes of transformation and the ephemeral in a way that merges the fantastical with the natural! I am a multi-disciplinary artist, and never shy away a challenge.
I've been passionate about digital illustration, graphic design, and photography for years—having started my ventures in visual arts by creating forum signatures in 2011, bringing my sketches to life since 2014, and having started as a hobby photographer when in 2013.
Since my early years, my skills have have been thoroughly challenged and I've honed my approaches to multi-disciplinary work significantly! To me, the ability to tell a story through a single image is profound and yet often challenging, but one I am always ready to undertake, no matter the scenario.
I always keep on top of the evolving world of illustrative art, graphic design and photography. I stay up-to-date on new software features that I can apply to my work. In terms of photography, I have shot a wide array of artists in diverse venues, done portrait work and studio work.
In terms of illustrative art, I have been commissioned by several clients to vector their images, design logos, and create album artwork, along with focusing on my own creative endeavors that I hold dear.

Thanks to many years of commitment and my multi-disciplinary approach to visual art, I have developed excellent post-processing skills for photography and a fluid workflow in Adobe Lightroom. I had first been employed as an in-house photographer at NVY nightclub, now focusing on hobby/freelance photography, commissioned artwork, and branding/product design.
What can you offer as a designer, what sets you apart?
I love using Adobe Illustrator to create scalable vector artwork and digital illustrations of all kinds, from personal artwork that resonates with my personal life, telling a story through simple and impactful design, staying in touch with clients for any commissioned artwork, to brand-oriented design, infographics and logo design. Illustrator is a key tool for all of my design work and is seamlessly incorporated in my design workflow, and is a standout tool for me.
Beyond illustrator, my design toolkit includes Photoshop and InDesign. These allow me to undertake a massive array of tasks, including typography, print design, colorization, photo restoration, layouts for web and mobile design, packaging design, mock-ups, creation of flyers, brochures, magazines, and  experimenting when creating my own designs!
Aside from my current skill-set, I have experience with nearly all the Creative Cloud suite from Adobe, and so I am always willing to tackle something new, and I am particularly thrilled when I get a chance to combine disciplines from different facets of visual art.
What can I expect from your photography, where do you specialize?
I thrive in showcasing and telling a story in fast-paced environments where where catching the right moment to create an immutable narrativea beautiful showcase of the subject, is only the smallest window of opportunity. Event and concert photography opportunities are where I thrive, where I get  determined to get that shot we both want to see. From concerts to art exhibitions, and everything in-between, I have years of experience working in these
Portrait photography is another special love of mine, as being able to capture the essence of a human to show so much of them, in a single image, is an amazing skill to develop. I have taken the author photo of the writer of Groupies: a novel (2022), published by HarperCollins. Further, I enjoy being able to create a studio scene and direct lighting to be able to properly showcase the client with props that serve to highlight their identity and personality.
Once the photos are taken, my post-processing skills come in effect. They had first been challenged when I had worked for NVY, sorting through hundreds of photos on every weekend shoot to pick out the best ones to develop took time, but allowed me to quickly focus my workflow to be efficient, ensuring a quick turn around and timely delivery to my clients. Since then, I've focused on learning more techniques as there is an endless array of possibilities to transform an image with Lightroom.
Don't hesitate to contact me! I'm always happy to chat about the world of visual art, whether you're an artist, prospective client, or are simply interested in my designs or photography. I am able to provide services, coverage, and design in both English and French!
